During this entire period we only prepare occasionally.
We sometimes think about the places we want to visit.
And we end up taking a few days by car to Ao Nang.
And on a tour along the Mekhong, from Ban Tha Di Mi via Chiang Khan, Nong Khai, Nakhon Phanom, That Phanom, Mukdahan to Ubon Ratchathani.

We are only busier in the last two or three weeks before our departure.
We're making copies of important documents again, and we're gradually doing some shopping.
Ao Nang is the first thing we want to do, about a week after we arrive. We are looking at hotels on the way to Ao Nang, probably stopovers in Hua Hin or Prachuap Khiri Khan, and in the Chumphon area. And we find out that finding a hotel in Ao Nang is difficult, everything seems to be full, and maybe that's because Loi Kratong falls in the period we want to go. We'll call when we're in Thailand.
The route along the Mekhong seems nice in some parts, but there are also parts where you cannot drive along the river, and that is of course less fun Maybe this will become something else, for example Chiang Rai and the surrounding area.

Just before we leave we receive some questions about buying some things in Thailand and taking money with us to Thailand.
We'll see what we can do.
